Great value Haven't used the rod yet, but looks fine, and for the price there is nothing out there that can even compare to what you get in this set. September 25, 2012
1st timer kit I ordered these rod and reel combos for my buddies kids who have never fished. They came complete with every thing needed to catch Bass and Blue gill. I was pleased with the product and the shipping. I will say that your online ordering interface could use some work. Trying to bill my address and mail to my buddy's address was a chore. After three tries the order was submitted and correct. Bass Pro stands behind the product. June 27, 2012
Shakespeare® Catch More Fish Rod and Reel Combo fo Great rod and reel combo, like the 2 pieces and the extras that come with it. Only complaint is the pre-spooled line is constantly breaking. Would recommend updating the line. June 24, 2011
Nice combo I really like this rod and reel combo. Will more than likely replace the stock line, though. It tends to want to tangle and "bird's nest." Otherwise it's high quality and sturdy! Will be using this for a long time. May 27, 2011
