my sons line broke and went into the reel i took it apart to get to the line and have no idea where to put the line to make it work?

Changing line on spincast reelsRemove the front cone by twisting to the right.
Remove the plastic sleeve by slightly twisting to the right and pulling up.
Remove all old line, check for dirt or debris. To clean the area, drag a clean, dry cloth around the empty spool.
Load the new line on the empty spool. This is easiest if you attach the reel to a rod and use the reel handle to evenly lay the line on the reel spool. Do not overload.
Replace the plastic ring. The line should come up inside the ring.
Place the line through the opening in the front cone and then replace the cone.
