I have worn these socks out in 3 or 4 rain storms with a pair of keen sandals, because it warmed up, and my boots were to hot. Big rain, and my feet stayed good and dry. Are they nice or what!! I am so glad I bought them. I do a lot of uphill walking, and my feet tend to sweat. Not with these socks however. My feet feel like there sweating, but when I take the socks off my feet are dry, and so are the socks.

Unsuitable for the long time walk in the dump area(wet land).
The water soak gradually from the top of the sock where the non waterproof treatment part.
However,
there is no problem wearing with a rainsuit during heavy rain.
Which means you don't have to wear rubberboots on.
These socks works on shallow streams or pools up to about 8" depth in the hunting field.

They're the best. Got them for my son who walks in water all day. His feet were torn up and no steel toed boot is waterproof enough. They work great...

i have used these since 2004 , i'm on my 3 rd pair . if you disc golf and your concentration goes because your feet are wet , buy these , well worth it !!
prolong their use by not wearing as slippers on pavement or gravel ! that is how i wore 1 pair out !
