I dont use this for my iPhone, but use it to keep my GPS in for my Jeep. I keep it in it when I am not using it incase I get caught in a random rainstorm with the top down. I did a few test with paper inside it before I used it just to be safe. It successfuly passed them so now I keep it inside my Jeep.

I use this to protect my iPhone from saltwater while fishing from my kayak. I use the phone for pics and navigation. It allows easy touch screen use and takes decent photos. The fabric (non transparent) portion of the case appears to be solid and will last longer than a year of frequent use. The plastic transparent portion is somewhat durable, but time will tell if it will hold up. If anything, it may dry up and become brittle. The seal is simple - just press to close, much like those plastic sandwich bags - but it leaves me to question if it is completely sealed and ready to be fully submersed into water. If I were to do that, I'd test it with paper to confirm it is completely sealed. However, it needs to be re-opened to take out the paper and put the phone in, so there goes the confidence if it is still completely sealed. This is the third waterproof case I have purchased for the iphone and it seems to be the most durable. I am pleased with my purchase - only had it about 3 weeks. When removing the iphone, it does seems to stick a bit and that concerns me when removing. I would definitely recommend this with the word of caution on removing the iphone and the confirmation of having a water tight seal.
It has the provisions to connect earbuds or whatever using a plug that is embedded in the case. Since I want to hear sounds I don't plug it into the phone and it gets in the way. I just cut it off since I'm not using it.
I gave it a dis for performance for not knowing 100% of a waterproof seal.
