  • Double Structure fluorocarbon
  • Remarkable knot and tensile strength
  • Exceptional castability
  • Nearly invisible
  • Level Wind Technologyâ„¢
  • Ideal for spinning and baitcast reels
Tatsu is an amazingly supple, fluorocarbon line that offers extraordinary knot strength, exceptional castability, and Seaguar's state-of-the-art Double Structure construction process. Created from two custom, 100% fluorocarbon resins, Tatsu has a softer exterior resin which enhances knot strength and a high-density interior resin that improves tensile strength. The innovative Double Structure process results in a high-performance fluorocarbon line that offers anglers tremendous application flexibility. Tatsu can be spooled on spinning and baitcast reels as a mainline, tied to braid as an inshore top shot and as a premium leader material. Plus, Tatsu also features Seaguar's Level Wind Technology which spools the line by laying it down side-by-side with no crossover to ensure maximum line strength without line stress or twist.
Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by great line this is all i use. great line, never let me down. i use it on baitcasters and spinning. March 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not Worth the Cost This line is in NO WAY worth the cost. I was fishing Table Rock lake with Tatsu on a few reels and InvisX on the others...there was absolutely no difference except one...the Tatsu kept breaking during the cast. I restrung with InvisX and didn't have another problem. The Tatsu might as well be gold thread for what they charge for it. Save your money and buy the InvisX! March 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great line. Little expensive but I recieved a gift card and figured I would give it a try. Now I'm mad because its awesome line and cant afford to put them on more rods. I use the 20# on my jig rod. The line is super strong, very sensitive, smaller diameter so I could cast atleast 10 to 15 feet further, little to no line memory, very little stretch. I set the hook on a two pounder and it flew out of the water halfway to the boat. All in all the best fc line i have used, and i have tried many. Really dont see how anyone could give it a bad review, this is the best line, buuuuut expensive. March 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best fishing line out there Recently went on a trip to lake Fork. Caught 5 fish over 6 pounds( in heavy cover) never broke off once. Great for long cast in the wind or flippin' heavy cover. I used the 17lb test and would recommend it to anyone. A little expensive but well worth the money. January 29, 2013

Not well. I had so many problems with line unwinding on its own, memory, bird nests and backlashes that I ripped it off after one use. I use the Shimano Stradic CI4 on a CarrotStick.

How much line in the spool?

Details:
It doesn't say a thing about the amount of line per spool. I'm guess 500 or 1,000?

only 200 yds per spool but I use backing and tie on only 75 yds of Tatsu. Why waste all that line?
