Not as shown or described Just opened my online order. I ordered SeaStrike umbrella rig 4-arms, 10-inch arms. Each arm measures out to 4 inches!!!! I repeat: FOUR inches. Give me a break. Not as shown in the picture and not as described. They sent the right stock and model number (UR4-210) but the picture and description do not match reality what-so-ever. January 11, 2015
too light I have purchased and used these for the last 18 months with great sucess. I was very pleased with the product and the description was accurate. The last time I needed to purchase some I went to the Concord Mills BPS and purchased 4. Upon opening the package I discovered that the wire dia. was approx. 1/2 the size of the previous rigs. The arms were already bent in the packaging! I returned these and ordered 4 more online, of which were the same as the ones that I had returned. I tried using one, and had the rare pleasure to boat 3 stripers on one rig, all 4 lbs. ea. Great luck for me, but the light rig lay in a tangled mass on the deck! Please return to the heavier rigs that you were stocking! August 22, 2010
Umbrella arm I rate this iteam poor. Where the arms cross at the lead core, the lead quality is to soft and the arms wiggle and are real loose so that they slide uneven in the lead core. You have to align them up even before dropping in the water and hope they stay even, and if you catch a hybrid, striper or whatever on the far end jig, what a mess. I bought 6, I had to torched the lead with a different grade of lead to fill the loose gap. January 21, 2010
Good purchase I will not use this until April but I have used these before. I have had very good luck trolling for stripers with these umbrella rigs. I would recommend them if you are having a hard time getting them to bite. March 15, 2010

A:
No, the overall diameter is 10". Measured from the tip of one arm to the tip of the other arm on the opposite side. It's a pretty small rig but, can be effective when trolled with two 20" rigs. Put one 20" rig on the starboard rod trolled 200' and the 2nd 20" on the port rod trolled at about 175', with the 10" on the center rod and trolled back at about 100'. This type of pattern gives a staggered affect and can turn on lethargic stripers. Work for me all the time.

A:
The rig is measured from tip to tip across the center. On this rig it makes a 10” spread. The stainless wire is .072” . The closes wire to this size is considered to be 13 gauge.
