The SE-8 is a great boat for any outdoorsman looking for an easily portable boat they can row or install a small motor on. Ideal for any person concerned with space, portability, and set-up time, this quality NMMA and CE certified boat from Sea Eagle is large enough for two people to fish from comfortably. This durable motor mount boat is made of 33 mil Polykrylar with five air chambers, including a safety chamber above the main chamber. Convenient design includes a wide beam hull for stability, an all-around grab line, a towing grommet on the bow, bow carry handle, and side handles. Paddling this lightweight boat is made easier by the four molded oarlocks and molded oarclasps. Holds three adults or 950 lbs. Lightweight boat weighs just 60 lbs with floorboards and motor mount. Accepts up to a 3 HP gas motor or up to 74 lb thrust electric motor. Takes only 10 minutes to inflate. Exterior dimensions (inflated) - 9' 7'' x 4' 8''. Deflated dimensions - 24'' x 21'' x 8''. Package includes AB253 oar set, MM3 motor mount, motor mount support bench seat, FB-9 wooden floorboards (great stability for standing fishermen!), SPW wooden bench seat, A41 foot pump, and repair kit. A: 
A 30" shaft for a trolling motor should be plenty for this craft. Inflatable boats do not have much drag on the water and set very low to the water, thus they do not require as long of a shaft length or pounds of thrust from the motor.

No special shaft length required.
Just keep in mind that you are a little closer to the water than in a hard side bass boat, so you will get into the bottom quicker.

Yes, the material is sturdy. It is made of 38mil PVC Polykrylar. Very tough. It also has a three year warranty, which tells you they are not afraid of any quality issues.

Yes, it inflates and deflates pretty fast and fits in a standard trunk easily. they list the deflated size as 21"x24"x 8", but I've never gotten it quite that tight or small after inflating, but to answer your question, yes, it will fit in your trunck.
The hull by itself only weighs 32 lbs so it is light enough for one person to easily handle.

Yes, they go in the bottom of the boat. They come in two pieces.
The Stern piece is 39"x28"
The Bow piece is 39"x29" (the bow piece is round in the front like the shape of the boat)
These work great, gives the boat some rigidity and stability you won't find in other inflatable boats.
