Rated 3 out of 5 by expensive for having such a cheap clip Great line clips, but pricey for the cheap little attaching clip you get with it. You will end up losing everything due to the attaching clip failing. I had to add a split ring and caribeaner clip to keep from losing them. May 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Super Gripper i have used this scotty release for the last 2years and it is by far the best release that i have used i would recomend this over any other release out thier it does not let go in rough water but it releases vary well when you have a fish on easy to work with no twisting of the fishing line to get it into just clamp and let it go. i have used all of the other kinds and this one super grip does the trick once you have tried it you will not go to any other release. i try to keep a extra couple in my tackle box just incase i looes a board to replace it with a new board. The only thing diferent is i use a 1" diameter ring so i dont loose the release on the board the clip after time gets worn out not the release. great product and i will continue to buy this product thanks the Bigbrute November 30, 2010
