I had three of these on my bass boat and realized one more was needed for foredeck fishing. We fish at Clearlake in California using minnows with the 2-rod stamp. I can fish one rod with the minnows and use the other for poppers, rattle baits, plastic worms or I can set my two rods up with the minnows and kick back waiting for the big strike on either side of the boat, relaxing or freeing up my hands for lunch. They work out great!

Bought this to mount on my yak to fish salt water. Mounts easily to a flat spot. It's a very strong product that can hold up against big blues and stripers. Fits my spinning and bait casters well

I purchased 2 of these rod holders to use on my TRACKER. I have two plates that fit into the VerstiTrack rail system. Once I purchased the rod holders I had to drill holes in the plates to attach the holder. Not the rod problem, my problem. Once I had the entire setup underway they worked perfectly. They are sturdy, they adjust up and down and swivel 360 degrees. I use them trolling for BASS.
They do NOT come with bolts or any type of fastener. I had to go to HOME DEPOT to outfit that myself. I have one other SCOTTY rod holder that is outfitted on my float tube that did come with two straps to wrap around the pontoon.
Overall SCOTTY make an excellent product.

I have a native manta ray and if yours is similar it will work. I have a track on both sides of the boat and they worked on mine although i had to buy the bolts and nylon washers from native to go in the track. Hope this helps.Details:Â

I bought a boat with the bases installed and no rod holders. Can I buy just the rod holders?
Answers
A:Â
I'm sure you can, but it probably be cheaper to buy the whole set, and install the new mounts in different spots around the boat so you have multiple spots to put the holders.2 years, 3 months ago
