Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite Release I've had this release for a week now and love it. It was easy to adjust, trigger is solid, and unlike the other poster I have yet to feel the need to put my finger behind the trigger to hold it. I have no contact with the trigger until I'm ready to shoot. May 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Hair Trigger Bought this release looking to replace the Red Head XPS, this has the same release mechanism as the Red Head, you need to push jaws closed and put your finger behind trigger and maintain constant forward pressure on the trigger, when its time to shoot you move your finger in front of the trigger and the slightest touch fires the release. I don't want a release where I have to constantly be thinking if its engaged or will misfire. Its going back. Could have saved this aggravation if Scott allowed you to get at the release in the store and test, their packaging is designed to keep you out till its purchased. Going to purchase the Tru Ball Assasin Scout or the Cyclone, both have positive engagement with infinite length adjustment on the release. January 12, 2014
