I totally fell in love with Venom the moment I applied it on my strings... no mess - straight up ease in application (specially with the leather applicator) and leaves dirty tell tale mark if you run your fingers across the strings afterwards..
and the metal can is small enough that you can carry it with you when you go out to shoot (..or hunt!)..
I've tried several lubes and stick waxes before but I'm sticking to VENOM now!

When you get your can in the mail you might think "ehh this is a little smaller than the picture makes it look." No big deal it still last. This wax is a thinner base than those push up stick waxes. It really penetrates into your string unlike the other thick chunky stuff. On top of that it comes with a leather pad for waxing which helps heat the wax during application and apply through and through. Durable tin container and worth the money. I wish it was a little cheaper but it is worth the money to have the best. Everything I ever hated about my old bow string wax this solves. Really happy with it and I think you will be as well.

This is a must have for all archery shooters! Easy applicator included. Keeps the string waxed for hundreds of shots at a time. Although with the ease and lack of mess during application, I wax my bow sting after every 75 shots.Cant go wrong with Scorpion Venom. Extremely nice product

In my years as a Bow Hunter and Archer I have ran into a lot of different string way. This is the best. that I have found.Easy application and no mess. Works into string better than others I have used. Unless someone comes up with a better wax this is all that I will use in the future. A little more expensive but worth the money. One word of advice. If you buy this product twist and pull on the lid at the same time to open. LOL. It is not a pry off lid.

I would use it on the string but not the tray. Scorpion makes a special bolt tray lube. They also have a Crossbow care kit that I believe includes everything you will need for your Xbow. Do not know why Bass Pro does not carry it. Wish they would. Excellent product.

You might try a crossbow wax. This is more for traditional dressing but might still work.1 of 1
