Intended for freshwater use, Scientific Anglers Mastery Series Steelhead Floating Flyline boasts a taper designed especially to meet the needs of big-water fly anglers. This taper has a longer head for increased distance while turning over big flies with ease. A longer front taper delays turnover for better deliveries at long range. At the same time, an extended rear taper allows long-distance mending, pickups and smooth casting. This special rear taper also increases your ability to carry and control more airborne line.
Scientific Anglers Mastery Series Steelhead Floating Fly line utilizes a braided multifilament nylon with optimum air entrapment for minimum memory and maximum floatation. Scientific Anglers Mastery Series Steelhead Floating Flyline is coated with a specially formulated 3M® PVC coating that's produced with Scientific Anglers’ Advanced Shooting Technology.
