Very good product. I had the schumacer charger for many years and found it a fine product this why when I needed to replace the old charger I bought a new one. I'v had the new one less than a month and need to send it in for repair as it is over charging the boat bat tires. Basspro has very good products that Ive used for many years. Denny June 25, 2012
Not dependable Bought one 2 yrs ago. It worked good for about six months. Now it hangs up when charging. It can be left hooked up to a battery for an extended period of time and will show that the battery is still not charged. Unhook the leads, immediatley re-connect and it shows that the battery is fully charged. Not sure if the charger is not working correctly or the display is not working correctly. March 31, 2010
2 years and I still love it! This has been the best battery charger for the money. Charges fast and I can trust what the % meter says. Never had issues with the extension cords either. Used 3 different ones 25-50 feet and different guages. I have also left this guy out in the rain by accident. Dried out...no problems! Any problems and you can call customer service. There are procedures to reset the unit. May 26, 2011
Best charger yet The advantage to this charger is that it can be optioned to charge an AGM battery or other types of batteries. Also another convenient option is the size of the battery. The charger is easy to carry. It has readable options for the buttons if in the daylight. October 15, 2013

what size inverter would I need to install in my truck to use this. I guess I need to know the wattage it takes for an average battery charger.I have a boat with a 2 battery system. (12 volt) one for trolling mtr., and one for starting. There are bank phase, and regular 120 volt chargers. I need a system where it charges both batteries, while I fish all day on the lake. Which do you suggest? I have a 40 hp. Evinrude, & 1 grp. 24 deep cyc., & 1 grp. 27 d.cyc. for trolling. What would be best
