Best Bang for Buck This charge , although a tad noisy, does what it says in quick time. It will continue to charge after the display reads 100% charged however when I called the company I was told that this happens in order to equalize all of the amperage in each cell. So, with that I let it run awhile longer (about 30 min) and it eventually settled down and went into trickle mode. They also suggested that a marine battery be charged in AGM mode. Great charger. Very good product. I had the schumacer charger for many years and found it a fine product this why when I needed to replace the old charger I bought a new one. I'v had the new one less than a month and need to send it in for repair as it is over charging the boat bat tires. Basspro has very good products that Ive used for many years. Denny June 25, 2012
Glad I did After 30 years my battery charge seen better days. I recently recieved a gift card and thought it was about time to invest in a new one. Im glad I did. I didnt know how far chargeing has come in that amount of time. I charge ny deep cycle and cranking battery in half the time. Very pleased with this product. April 18, 2012
Great All-Purpose Automatic Battery Charger I had this charger for over 3 years. I use it to charge/maintain batteries for a small fleet of toys, boats, and vehicles. I've successfully desulfated several 'bad' batteries with it. It's never failed to meet my expectations. January 6, 2012

what size inverter would I need to install in my truck to use this. I guess I need to know the wattage it takes for an average battery charger.I have a boat with a 2 battery system. (12 volt) one for trolling mtr., and one for starting. There are bank phase, and regular 120 volt chargers. I need a system where it charges both batteries, while I fish all day on the lake. Which do you suggest? I have a 40 hp. Evinrude, & 1 grp. 24 deep cyc., & 1 grp. 27 d.cyc. for trolling. What would be best
