Rated 4 out of 5Â by huckleberry No More Ticks!
I hate ticks. They are the only bad thing about turkey season. I used to get blanketed in ticks and worry about all the diseases and such that they cause. That was all until I found this stuff.
Follow the directions that are on the can and allow the treated clothes to air dry outside. You'll be amazed with the results. If you want proof of it's effectiveness, just take someone into the woods with you who has on untreated clothing. At the end of the day, they'll be removing ticks while you wind down.
The reason for 4 vs. 5 stars is the can. It doesn't seem to be able to apply and spray the solution without clogging and dripping everywhere. I've had multiple cans with the same problem. If you are going to purchase this stuff, which I recommend you do, buy the spray bottle. It works much better!

This product worked wonders for the hot humid tick and chigger infested late summer and early falls here in Kentucky. The main problem I had with this product is the aerosol can sprays HORRIBLE! It leaks everywhere!!! The product that does come out and stays on the clothes works MIRACLES!!! But 2/3 of it leaked out.

The Sawyer’s 9-ounce aerosol spray system is terrible. I had more product on my hands than the clothing. The spray nozzle was correctly alighted but it continued to malfunction when I sprayed it. This is ashamed because permethrin works great! Last year I purchased Sawyer 24 oz spray trigger bottle and have nothing but great things to say about the trigger spray bottle. This year the 24 oz verse was sold out and I should have waited for the restock.

I use this stuff religiously in the turkey woods as well as early bow season. Through out the turkey season which is almost 5 weeks here, I'll go thru a couple cans, but over spray everything. Then again its been 4 years using this, and not one tick or chigger! But like I said I spray everything down thoroughly, boots, hat, gloves, pants, jackets, EVERYTHING, and will do so every couple of days. I rather be safe than sorry
Not much, but your hands will be totally covered. Buy the 24-oz. spray trigger bottle, I got at least four sets of clothing out of the 24oz bottle. Could have even gotten more gear covered if I'd used it a little less generously.
