These magazines function flawlessly, the only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five is the cost of the magazines. They are expensive for a ten round mag, but they are hard to find and if you want spares for your Savage, you have to pay to get them.

My son loves to target practice and these are great for that purpose and price.

I don't know of any alternative products so I went with another Savage factory magazine. It is fine and I am happy that there is a 10 round capacity magazine. The two problems that I have is (this may be the gun and not the magazine) the magazine is loose in the gun and often times, the last round in the magazine gets stuck when I try to chamber it. I find myself having to maneuver the bolt slowly to make sure that the round loads properly. Again, this may be the gun causing the problem.

The mags for the 22 magnum should work just fine, since the 17 HMR is the same length as the 22 magnums. Like the Glock 40 S&W mags will work with the .357 Sig. Also with the magazines being only five and ten round there should not be a curvarture problem.Details:Â
Visually, the Savage magazine is similar to the Stevens and the stevens is also a bolt action, i just wanted to know if it would fit in a Stevens model 84C.Answers

bought my savage 17 hmr magazine online a few weeks ago from Bass pro be sure to indicate that you want the 17hmr/22win mag clip and not the 22long rifle. The 17hmr and the 22 win mag clip are the same thing, however much different from the 22 lr.1 of 1
