Factory quality magazine performs just like the one that came with the rifle from the factory. four stars for being a little pricey June 16, 2011
10 Shot Savage Magazine My new Savage Mark II BSEV came supplied with one 5 shot .22 magazine. So naturally being the lazy guy I am I had to get the largest magazine capacity available. Bass Pro and their 10 shot magazine was the answer. Works like a charm and even comes in stainless to match my new pop gun! It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Tell them to make one in a twenty shot someday. February 8, 2011
Works well This mag works as well as the factory mag. No jams and loads easily. It holds 10 rounds so you don't have to worry about reloading as much as the 5 round factory mag. January 12, 2011
Ouch! I try and stick with the factory magazines. By the time you add freight to this one - Ouch. Savage brand - fits good - matches original mag. I guess I knew what I was getting into when I bought it! October 13, 2010

The mags for the 22 magnum should work just fine, since the 17 HMR is the same length as the 22 magnums. Like the Glock 40 S&W mags will work with the .357 Sig. Also with the magazines being only five and ten round there should not be a curvarture problem.

A:
bought my savage 17 hmr magazine online a few weeks ago from Bass pro be sure to indicate that you want the 17hmr/22win mag clip and not the 22long rifle. The 17hmr and the 22 win mag clip are the same thing, however much different from the 22 lr.
