OK, buy her a Youth .22 Rifle. Go to Bass Pro Shop, get a Youth .22 Rifle, have her try and look through it as if she were going to shoot it. If that don't work, buy her a .22 handgun.

If you are shooting iron site only, shoot as far as you can accurately shoot.
If you have a scope, you can shot as far as you have prepared yourself to shoot with the scope. You should go to a shooting range, site in your scope around 75 yards. So, now you have already trained yourself at the range to shoot and hit your target at 75 yards. The you go out and try to repeat this method out in the open, and try to kill something your trying to eat.
