Buy this one! I just bought this rifle yesterday and I am so glad I did. I got it home and opened the box, read through the safety material. Then I went out back of the house and set up a target at 50 yds.(I'm lucky enough to still be able to do that where I live) It took 5 shots to get it on the paper and the next 5 were in the 2" black bulls eye. I was impressed to say the least. A little more time and I'm sure 100yds. or 200 yds. will be no problem either with this .270 rifle. If you are shopping for a new rifle this fall take a real good look at this one. With the AccuTrigger, Weaver scope, and camo-dipped finish this is a Great deal. October 4, 2014
Best BANG! for your buck$ These rifle is awesome quality is extremely good very light wight trigger on these gun is soft and easy can be adjusted how ever you like it the scoop I was most impressed with very clear it comes bore sighted I only had to make one 1/4 inch adjustment to the left and one 1/4 adjustment up and now it's right on but very good right out of the box I put 60 rounds through the gun yesterday For the first time and no jams goes bang every time very clean day of shooting very happy with these gun . very impressed I originally bought this after doing research and liking the reasonable price as well as the accutrigger. Once I had the chance to site it in, the accuracy was amazing, the trigger pull was great and I truly am happy with my purchase. November 23, 2014
A couple of issues... First off, the price, especially with the rebate is great. When I got the rifle home, I was very happy with the appearance and feel. When I got it out to the range however, a couple of issues came up. First off, I was told that the rifle was bore sighted at the factory. However, the scope was not even mounted correctly to the rifle. The spacing was off, and one of the mounting brackets wouldn't even clamp down to the rifle. After firing the gun a few times, I noticed that I could not load a new round. The issue was that the back of the magazine had started to come out of the gun. Now, every time I fire the rifle, the magazine starts to come out and I have to latch it back into the stock. I had really high hopes for this rifle, however I have been very frustrated with it so far. I DO like the accu-trigger and the rifle fits me very well. Hopefully once I have the couple of issues I've had figured out it will function the way I hoped it would. November 15, 2014

either on would work just fine. Some people will argue the 270 is the best for hunting deer put it is really about shot placement. I bet you could shoot the 243 a lot better thought.

The .270 is a great deer cartridge. However, it is a little small for the others. If you are looking for a well-rounded firearm for all three we suggest a 30-06. Thank you for your question.
