Rated 3 out of 5Â by MikeTM When they run true they are awesome
I have the sunfish versions. I have only seen a few reviews where this happens but honestly, aren't more people having this issue?
They don't run straight. My first package 2/3 kept running on their sides and I had to really work hard at swimming them true.
Second package 1/3 had the same issue.
They also hang very easily.
Now with that being said, the colors and looks, combined with the action (IF!) they are running true has landed me several lunker Smallies.

Went fishing today with brother and a friend. Caught four bass with this lure. They used all they had and caught nothing. Great lure in a pinch and for the money. But one draw back, it hangs easily.

Got out two days ago to try this swimbait out. Very natural looking and acting. Caught several small bass and a couple of real chunker bluegills with it. Missed several other hits. Looks like a keeper so far. Very good value also.

if you're referring to the storm suspenders, i'd carry them in all sizes from 3in to at least 5in. they do make 6 and possibly 7in versions that would work equally well even in freshwater depending on the species. my suggestion is to try to match to the best of your abilities the size and color to a certain extent of the baitfish that are in your area. hope this helps2 years, 7 months ago
