I always either get a hit or a catch with this lure but it is not durable. I hooked a gator gar and it ripped. It also is not always good at keeping the fish on and landing it.

Fishing on Lake Ontario, you know that Gobies have become a huge part of the food chain for Bass, Pike, and Trout. With that in mind, I ordered these hoping for the best. What I got was a fat steelhead on my 2nd cast! That has never happened to me. Another trip out and a 34" pike nails it while targeting trout. My point is, buy these immediately if you fish the Great Lakes or Fingerlakes. I am EXTREMELY impressed with these. Keep in mind that they must be retrieved SLOWLY or you will get line twist, with or without a swivel. That, and I have lost an eye on each one after a fish has hit it. Other than that, great!

It looks like a real life goby. I use these lures all over lake erie near piers and underwater structure. I have caught walleye, smallmouth, and largemouth. I attribute this to how real they look and when fished properly they produce good fish.

I have used this product on several occasions and this is what I have found... the product is great for catching fish but any fish with can easily tear it to pieces

You will definately get 3 in a single package. I have many Storm lures, and the packages of 3 are much more than you will need: I have given 2 of the 3 to friends of mine during the summer of last year and I still have the only one that I had left.Top 1000 Contributor

Will this lure work in the chicago river and chicagoland area?Answers
A:Â
If there are Gobies present, than 100% yes. Otherwise, It is still a nice paddle tail lure that should attract more agressive species like pike and bass.Top 1000 Contributor
