Ok... I bought this last year as a starter swimbait. I got to say that I was pretty pleased with how they look but how they perform was a totally different story! I had to break the first lure in for the first three or four weeks before it even started to swim right! All three did not swim correctly out of the package. I finally left the lure out to bake in the sun and it worked. Swam perfectly until something took the tail piece. The other two would not swim right no matter what I did. Only reason I give it 2 stars is that it did get me hooked on swimbaits, even if it was just one fish! For under $4 dollars it's a nice little starter swimbait. February 25, 2009
Storm WildEye Crappie This lure is awesome! every pond or lake I've used it in I've caught bass, without exception! I've used both the 2inch and 3inch version, and both just flat out catch fish. The key to this lure however, is you must swim it in front of the bass, to get their attention. And it helps to use an erratic retrieve, with zig-zags to the left and right, or slight pauses. The key is to give it as life-like a presentation as you can. If you just crank it in, you'll still catch fish, but the bites will be slow. Another retrieve worth trying, is to "Yo-yo" the lure by jerking it up, then letting it flutter slowly back down, like a dying fish. The only real draw back to this lure, is that because it's very soft especially the tail, if you're catching fish with it, you'll go through a lot of these lures. The tails don't hold up to a lot abuse, and after 3 or 4 catches, they droop, and don't swim correctly. But it's worth it, if you're catching fish! July 11, 2006
Magic bait This is now my "go to" bait , if they don't hit this then they aren't hungry. Good advice in storage is to keep them in the package they come in, otherwise they will contort and swim somewhat erratic July 23, 2009
AWESOME My girlfriend was using the Storm minnow and caught 3 crappie on three casts after going all day without even a bite so I decided to give these a try and man did I burn the fish up. Caught more fish in the last few minutes of the day using these things then I did all day. I use the Sunfish ones though, but I'm sure it doesn't matter. If you want to catch fish then I HIGHLY recommend you get some of these. I would definitely buy these again and from now on will not go fishing without them. Use them in a boat as I got hung up a lot when I was using it from the bank. April 12, 2010

I mostly use the 2" ones with an Arke spinner on the front, but, sometimes only the 3" ones will work. You need both.

if you're referring to the storm suspenders, i'd carry them in all sizes from 3in to at least 5in. they do make 6 and possibly 7in versions that would work equally well even in freshwater depending on the species. my suggestion is to try to match to the best of your abilities the size and color to a certain extent of the baitfish that are in your area. hope this helps
