excellent on bass in all lakes in upstate NY especially in the fall. Wish they still made a gold chugbug!

I have been useing chug bugs for a couple years now and i have had very good fishing with them i seen to hook up more on the black blue and red and whites better then the others but have hooked up on all of the colors tho only down fall is the tails dont last long but even when they arent there the lure still produces more hits and hook ups then others poppers i have

Defenately one of the best top water lures i use for smallmouth bass they just pamper them. And when the occasional northern pike or musky hit them watch out nothing but fun!!! From lake's to river's to creeks great all round top water lure.
