Top water fishing here in SC is really my passion and I have added this excellent lure to my other "stand-by's": the Trophy Scumfrog and the BPS TopKnocker...all a bit different and seem to get varying results on top water action. The Chug Bug has a bit smaller, very sharp treble hooks and works well on quick, slashing hits even from small fish. I seldom miss a bass when they hit the 'Bug. Not for pitching into the brush or lily pads...this covers a nice gap between frog and buzz-bait. The 08 color is a winner.

I just staterd using these lures and they work amazing!, Ive used them for everything from snappers to striped bass and have had alot of luck!! I just cast and retreive but with a samll twich to the lure,...

This is a great topwater lure. Bass can't seem to stay away from it. I would highly recommend it. I am going to order many more for my tackle box.

Cast far and has good action nice big splash when you pop it. Catch nice stripers with this .
