Some might say that this is a terrible bait but I think differently. As with lots of swimbaits it will turn over to it's side and not work, but you can either find higher grounds or try to straighten rod. Haven't caught a fish yet with this, but it seems strong when I cast and retrieve. This bait has good action in the tail, even when sideways. It also has good detail, just like a rainbow trout. I also recomend that you take the belly treble off if fishing near weeds, the pond I test on has lots of weeds, every time I cast it catches on the weeds and starts dragging them. It's a huge hook, so that's why you should take it off, if you don't believe me you are going to get snagged.

Good bait for money
A lot of people say this is a horrible bait. If you learn how to use it, it could work. I caught a four pounder that just swallowed it when i was dragging it on the bottom. They seem to like that. Just take the treble hook off. You still catch them, trust me. Its not any spro bbz or Huddleston swim bait but it will work and is at a great price for people who cant afford one bait at twenty dollars. As long as you figure out how to use it effectively, its a good purchase.
(p.s. the eyes fell out on mine as well. it doesn't matter, i still catch fish on it.)

This is the best swimbait I have used for lunker bass of all species whether it be large mouths, or stripers!

I would say that this lure is a piece of junk but there are 2 to a package and they are both junk. First cast one of the eyes fell out. Changed lures and watched it swim. You have two choices, on it's side or on it's back. There is little or no tail movement, nothing to attract a bass I don't care if it is starving. I fished this at Lake Castaic after a trout plant. The bass were swarming but I think I could hear them laughing as I dragged the bait past them. I called BPS and they said to bring it back but the drive is over an hour and a half from my house, not going to happen. There is no contact information for Storm on the internet (at least none that I could find). I will stay as far away as possible from any of their products from now on.
