It could be good I was using this lure today and I saw this bass so I cast toward it bite it and spit it out so it kept cast at it for about a hour because I wasn't catch anything and it spit it out like a 100 it seemed like.I tried to set the hook but kept spit it out when I tried to and I don't know if it was the fish or the lure April 23, 2014
Hit or Miss I bought these lures without first reading any reviews online and got lucky with my first purchase. These have caught fish for me when other lures weren't producing. Be warned though that not all of the lures work properly and there is clearly an issue with quality control. I figure that around 1 out of every 3 work and swim properly and 2 out of 3 are simply defective. The one that works properly will no longer perform correctly after only a few fish (2-3) However, whenever these lures are "working" they definitely seem to produce! December 4, 2013
First Time Enticed by appearance, my son bought one and we tested it in our pool. Looked great, so i bought one. So far, so good! October 14, 2013
Works like a champ I have read quite a few reviews where people say it lays on its side. I too noticed this when using a palomar knot. I switched to the rapala knot and it works perfectly. Also, I got it to work perfectly with the palomar knot, but I had to fish it faster than I had wanted. I just got it today, went fishing for 2 hours this evening, and a lake that has been slow for me produced big. Pulled in anywhere from 15 to 20 bass. Smallest in the 1lb region largest in the 6lbs region. I got the Bluegill one, 1/4 oz. Wish I would have gotten a slightly heavier one as I hate casting 1/4oz lures with baitcast. September 6, 2013

I just bought one and it swims on its side, and just flops on top of the water with anything faster than a super super slow retrieve. The only good action I have gotten is when I jerk, let it sink, jerk, etc etc. I assume this is a bad one I should return?

It's not just cuts... the "joint" is molded so that the connecting material between the sections is about 1/6 the maximum thickness. The adjoining section extends over the "joint" kind of like a bevel-in-vee design,

Not jointed but the "cuts" give it incredible action. I have caught largemouths, smallmouths, catfish , gar pike and spawning salmon on this lure. For smallmouths I fish it in real fast current pulling it fast until it breaks the surface then let it fall back and they destroy it!
