A skinnier version of STORM's incredibly popular Wart Crankbait series, the Deep Rattling Flat Wart with its unique flat-sided design produces enough wiggle to entice even lethargic fish to open wide. The flat sides really make the Deep Rattling Flat Wart wiggle hard and create more flash. If the Flat Wart's tight, side-to-side wiggling and flashing action doesn't immediately draw attention, the loud cadence-style rattles certainly will not let this crankbait swim past unnoticed.

One of the best lures. I always make sure I have it when I go fishing.

I have not used these yet, but they look like they will troll much easier than the old wiggle warts

Work great, excellant colors, tough, well built. I prefer Storm baits over others.

Had to try this deeper "Wart" . Spotted bass were deep but seemed to like this tighter shimmy. Caught 2 on it but 0 on my old warts. The new UV color green was the ticket this day. I think this is a winner.

I have used these poppers in clear water to really muddy water and everywhere in between. I have used all the colors as well and have to say that the number one color muddy water has to be the YELLOWEYE PERCH.
The most fundamental rule is to fish brightly colored baits in dingy or muddy water and light, subtle colors in clear water. Exceptions: Most expert night fishermen use black or dark blue lures and most topwater specialists prefer dark-colored baits early and late in the day when visibility is poor, and light-colored baits during bright periods. There's no hard, fast rule.
I would say that these new version would run the same as the old ones. 6 to 8 feet at most. Slow moderate steady crank, very versatile, Bass love them down on the Tenn. river.
I USE THESE LURES WITH TWO DIFFERENT SIZES OF LINES AND I HAVE FOUND THAT IF I USE A 10 TO 14 SIZE LINES THESE LURES WILL GO DOWN TO AROUND 8 TO 10 FEET. I USUALLY USE 17 LB STREND LINE BUT HAVE HAD TO GO WITH A 12 TO 14 LB SIZE LINE.
