How far behind trolling board

You say 6+ feet deep , but have far behind the trolling board is that. And if i want to go deeper with this lure how far back, oris that as deep as they will go?

A: 
I have read and use 75 feet as a minimum trolling distance. Generally, from my experience, if you troll faster, you go deeper.

A: 
Six feet is about the maxiumum depth of this lure. The type of line being used behind the planar board will determine how long the line needs to be. 75-100' should be a good estimate for the length range of line behind the planar board.
