Killed em pre spawn off of wood , windy main lake points. Without a doubt the sharpest treble hook on any hard bait right out the box.

I really gave jerktbait fishing a try for the first time this past March. I picked up the Cellmate because it was the only one they had left. And now I am kind of glad it was the only one I had to choose from. That first time out we crushed them. I caught several big fish including one that went over 4.5lbs. Needless to say I was hooked after the experience and continue to throw it whenever the opportunity presents itself. Its so hard to really give another jerkbait an honest try because of the great success i had the first time out.
My biggest knock would be the hooks bent pretty easily, and I had to replace them after that first session. Overall, great bait.

These Jerkbaits were a tournament winner for me. When little to nothing else was working these baits put fish in the livewell!!! Mainly a Spring time, cold water bait, but can also be effective post spawn and in the Fall season.

This bait is off the chart , comes in some great colors and suspends true out of the pack every time . My hook up percentage has been very high thanks to the #5 Gama hooks.
