SPRO Fat John 60 Crankbaits
Little known sleeper...
So far these Fat Johns are flying below the radar here on Lake Lanier but the secret is to fish the past years old bank cover and flooded grasses and to wok them at a medium to fast reteirve. If you run one out in open clear water or even a swimming pool watch them closely because, like other little Johns, they "hunt" or work erratically on a straighht retrieve. Add to that your own stop and go cadence or even what I prefer is just crank them back medium steady and let the cover and lure traits make it work it's majic. When the Fat Joihn deflects off an object and a bass is close by they will clock it! Because you are fishing shallow they almost blow up on it like a top water strike. It comes through through the nastiest bank cover you can find and you may get a couple of snags but most of the time the fish will eat it!

One of the best crankbaits I have ever thrown. It has one of the finest paint jobs of any bait in my tackle box. It has a good combination of action and wobble. Thanks to its transfer weight the bait cast's a long ways even though it is small bait. The profile in the water is one of a kind. It's square bill allows it to bump and deflect off cover and stumps. I will continue to catch tons of fish on this bait.

Great flat-bill shallow runner
I have used the SPRO Fat John for the last three months and it is now my favorite shallow running wide-wobble crankbait! It cast like a bullet and really gets the bass fired up when they are in shallow cover. In fact, it has won my team tournament partner and I checks in the last two bass tournaments. When the bass attack the Fat John, those larger Gamakatsu hooks stick them and they don't get off. Try one today...it will quickly become your favorite too!

Fat John 60!
FIrst off, just let me say that the look of this bait is what first drew me to it. The colors and the style of all the John Spro baits are ridiculous. They have extra sharp Gamakatsu hooks and a pretty cool computer chip square bill. Lastly, the tungsten weight transfer system works like a charm, you can cast this thing a mile.
