The SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger Personal Tracker utilizes GPS technology to keep your friends and family up-to-date on your status when you’re in the wild, and in worst case scenarios, alert the authorities when you need urgent help. The SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger Personal Tracker comes complete with buttons for check-in, tracking, Alert SOS, Ask For Help, and a message button (non-urgent messages). If there is no GPS fit, SPOT sends a distress signal without the GPS signal to emergency response center. Features safety flaps over the 911 and help buttons, illuminated buttons, a sent message light, and a soft neoprene case.
Ask for help: Request help from friends and family every five minutes for one hour.
Check in: Let contacts know where you are and that you're okay.
Message button: Custom create non-urgent message to send to friends and family.
Track progress: Acquires your GPS location every ten minutes for 24 hours. Sends each location one time. Previous two track points send with current track points send with current track point helps ensure consistent recording of movements.
Alert SOS: Alert emergency assistance request with your exact location to GEOS every five minutes up to 4.7 days.
