It has always gotten the job done for me. I will take this snake head fishing and I use it to kill them once I catch them and it is a very quick death.

I get daily use from this Tomahawk around my farm. I would recommend it for anyone, whether for use as a tool, or as a possible self defense weapon.

I took this axe ice fishing and when i was testing it out the blade worked well, but the following night i took it out and i noticed a chip in the blade. this is no lie, the first time i use it it chipped and i used IT PROPERLY! i wonder if it is just the 420 steel it is made out of. i would never recommend this axe and it cost a lot too!

Having collected several different " combat tomahawks " ....I've found SOG's Tactical Tomahack far superior in materials used and workmanship.. My only modification I could come up with , was adding para-cord to the grooves already cut into the bottom portion of the handle.

No but the smaller sog tomahawk does. My husband got it for Christmas and that is what he and our son does with it.
