Good for hunting I am strictly a target shooter so I never use a bow-mounted quiver. This case was obviously designed for clearance of a quiver. That makes it about 3" thicker than necessary for a target bow. That empty space in the lid could have been used for more arrow storage mounts, and where the arrows are now carried could have been used for a compartment for accessories. The interior dimension of 15" is perfect for fitting my Hoyt Ignite bow, which has a 15-1/8" width. It snuggles down inside the case so there is no movement, but also no stress on the cams. Except for the extra depth of the case for target bows, it is excellent for my Hoyt Ignite, 12 arrows, and a small accessory box. April 18, 2014
Great Case-Perfect Fit for Z7 I don't understand the early reviews that say this case won't fit a Z7 or won't fit with a stabilizer on. Obviously stabilizers come in different sizes, so it depends. I have a Mathews Z7 (standard) with a 5" Axion stabilizer. It fits perfectly WITH the stabilizer on AND the quiver on! The proof is in the picture... That said, the case offers great protection, and holds the bow like a glove without straps. The plastic is not soft and flexible like other cases. The ONLY thing I have noticed is that my nock loop has to twist one way or the other to slide in (not really an issue). I tuck my release over in the corner and it doesn't move. And I put my allen wrenches and field tips or broadheads in a crown royal bag and tuck them in the other corner. I'd buy another one if I lost this case tomorrow. November 10, 2011
LOVE IT!!!! by far the best bow case for the money! my maxxis 31 fits like a glove in it, even with the quiver on. holds a dozen arrows fine, although you do have to stagger them for fletch clearance. i think anyone with a stabilizer over 6" could have clearance issues. all in all a fantastic case, and i dont see me ever buying another brand of case. FANTASTIC! December 30, 2010
Fits Hoyt Alphaburner I recently decided to go with this case for my Hoyt Alphaburner. It came down between this one and the Plano Bone Collector. It was a tough decision because both seem to be really nice cases. The Plano looked nicer on the outside and seemed well made but it is unbelievably heavy. The SKB is a ton lighter and has a really nice inside. Arrow holders are a little chincy. Both are made in the U.S.A. this was a must for me. The SKB is a lot smaller as well. It fits a Alphaburner like it was custom made for it and I don't have to take my 6" Fuse stabilizer or quiver off. Only time will tell how well it holds up. I would have to say probably one of the better cases out there for this price range. December 30, 2011

I have a 2013 Hoyt Spyder, which is basically the same Dimensions and mine fits in this case just fine. However I have had this case for several years now and it is falling apart. Very poor quality for long term use. I would not recommend this case to anyone.

A:
The interior dimensions of the case are 39"x15"x6". If your Hoyt Carbon Spyder is not wider than 15" or longer than 39" it should fit.

Im not sure if that bow will fit in this case, but I have had this case for several years, and it started to fall apart after the first year two. Plastic became very brittle can has cracked in 4-5 places, including the has cracked and broke off 2 of the latches. Poor quality case for long term use, I wouldn't recommend this case to anyone.

It should. There is really no size difference between the heli-m and the z7 extreme. They look identical and my z7 extreme fits perfect.

My Hoyt havotec fits perfectly, it is about 1 in shorter than your Maxx but there is plenty of room. I love this case! I use a soft case when I am in the woods but travel with this , 1500 bucks in gear, I decided I was a fool to protect it with a cheap 40 $$ Plano case ' Good luck

BTW I wish I bought the Max instead of the Havoctec !!!

I think the Alphamax and Alphaburner are close in size. It fits the Alphaburner perfectly like it was made for it.

I just got a 2012 Hoyt Carbon Element two days ago and it fits perfectly in this case with room to spare. The foam keeps the bow securely in place. It has plenty of room for my Tight Spot quiver and I can keep my 6.5" Hoyt stabilizer on the bow. A stabilizer any longer than that will not fit. All in all, it's a great case and I am happy with my purchase.

I shoot a Hoyt Havotec but my buddy shoots a S-back and his fit ( they are pretty much the same size. If you sablizer is more than 6 .5 in you will need a knuckle, which my bud already had, mine is in the mail. The case is real nice , I would have liked heavier hardware but still a soild case.. I feel alot better about my bow being intact when I travel.

good luck
