SHE® Outdoor Waterfowl Camo Jacket for Ladies
Perfect ladie's camo jacket
My wife has wanted a good fitting, stylish and warm camo jacket for quite some time, but has been disappointed with the usual small men's, large boy's or nice looking not really made for the great outdoors women's jackets that have been available. This jacket has made her very happy! It is styled for a gal, but functions as a true outdoor piece of clothing. She has received many compliments and inquiries as to where she got it from. The SHE line of outdoor wear definitely gets an A+ approval from her! Thanks Bass Pro for offering the good stuff.

I have been looking for a good quality women's hunting jacket for a few seasons now. And like most women I have been wearing men's. We know that men's jackets are simply too big for us. There is extra material bulk that gets in the way of hunting/fishing activities. Jackets can be expensive so its hard to invest unless you are positive the item will work for you.
Well here's the scoop on the SHE Outdoor Waterfowl Camo jacket. I'm not sure if I'd go so far as to say its made for the harshest conditions but it will keep you warm with a few layers underneath. When I got up this morning at six it was 25 degrees out. I put on my Under Armour coldgear, Under Armour storm hoodie, Columbia fleece and SHE jacket. I then drove to the lake where it was 27 degrees. Driving in the bass boat at roughly 50 mph I can happily say I was warm and the jacket is windproof.
The jacket is really soft and quiet. I am worried about the material snagging but that has yet to happen. I purchased a small which is my usual size. I'm 5'5" 125lb. Overall length of the sleeves and body are great. I can raise my arms without it coming up too high. And I can sit without much puffy bulk. The pockets are plentiful, but because of the form fit of the jacket the pockets are not very big. I can snuggly fit my hands but there's not a lot of room for gear.
Now here's my only complaint. Waterproofness (is that a word?) The areas that you see with the camo pattern did a great job repelling water. I had my boyfriend spray me with the hose. Better to figure this stuff out while close to my warm home. I even poured water into a pool onto the jacket and let it sit for a few minutes to see if it would absorb, nope! However, the areas you see in brown are not waterproof. It absorbed water like a sponge. Now why would you make a half waterproof jacket?

This is the first camo coat I have owned and am very pleased with fit and design.

This jacket is actually pretty feminine. It works pretty well in the rain. I was pretty hesitant about how much rain it would hold off. It definitely works well if you have a long distance or just caught in the rain. There are a lot of pockets which I like. They are all different. I would have liked to see some inside pockets, though. The hood is okay, but kind of thin. It looks awkward once tucked away and zipped up. I leave it out most of the time due to that. I am five foot exact and about 113 lbs. I got an xs and it is a tiny bit big on me, but not too big to make me look like I'm wearing two sizes too big. So, expect more room once you sit down. I would definitely recommend any female to get this. It offers a lot! I wear it daily if it's cold out because it does keep you warm! If you have tiny wrists, you can adjust buttons on the wrist area of the jacket to make tighter. Such a compliment go-getter! I think the age range that would look best in this would be 18 and up to adults.
