Set up as the instruction said. Gave one pull on the tether and it broke. Little pieces went flying and the cord wound up inside of the tether. Never even made it up to my eye.

Just received my Sidewinder Evo and have used it for about a week now. Very nice product. Stays attached to my belt and is very secure. The only issue I have is that it is a little difficult getting it to release fm the stowed position. It takes more effort than I would like to get it to release so you can raise the range finder to your eye. Other than that it's very solid and quiet.

Keeps rangefinder out of the way while keeping it handy. Quiet operation. Keeps it secure from dropping it out of tree.

While this product attaches to my rangefinder securely, it doesn't attach well to me. In fact, it keeps falling off whatever I attach it to- belt, safety harness, whatever, it just falls off. The rest of the design is outstanding, but you can't trust it with your precious optics. With a redesigned belt clip, this would be a five star item.
