Rusty's Shad Baits are some of the most effective baits for monster catfish, massive stripers, trophy bass and any other gamefish that feed on live shad. Rusty's Shad Baits can be fished like a pork rind or rigged as a trailer on any bass lure. The new pressure pack eliminates odor, eliminates leakage and requires no refrigeration.

Rated 3 out of 5 by not too good ive used the blood twice. first time caught a turtle. second i put it on a limb line and caught a 7 poung catfish September 21, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by One of the worst This is a guaranteed waste of money, Not to be bought! July 6, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Terrible bait to fish with, good to chum with. The only use for this bait I found, which was on accident, is to chum the water to bring fish in. After getting frustrated with three failed trips using these whole shad I tossed the entire bag into the water. Within minutes there were dozens of bluegills picking at these shad. The "frenzy" called in some channel cats that then ignored the easy dead shad and started drilling the gills. They stay on the hook well but who cares when they don't catch fish? Skip these for some nightcrawlers, chicken livers, or a quality dip bait! May 6, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by not the best I used this one time on a 4 day fishandcamp trip and was useing trotline and regular pole fishing I only hade turtles eat it and so I switched to live brim and hooked them through the eye to make them live longer and that got me alot of good bites.I also noticed it was coated in some kind of die cause it rubed off real easy it wasnt real blood October 21, 2011
