Rated 4 out of 5 by razorbacks durable vest
this is my second elite hybrid vest. i had to buy a second because the first was way too big. i have been wearing them for over 8 years. the pockets are great. the material does really well in all the briars and sticks that i put it through. my only complaint is that the vest runs way too big and that it is very hot and bulky. when the temps reach 80 degrees and you remove the sleeves from the vest you will still cook like an oven. i walk long distances when i hunt and really wish i had a vest that breathed a little better. i have killed a lot of birds wearing the elite hybrid and i hate to part ways with it, but i have got to find something that will keep me from overheating on those warm turkey days.

Pockets are different than SE III and Trek lite SE III ... and not as good in my opinion. I bought the hybrid expecting the pockets to match the regular SE III and they do not. These pockets would require zipping or spring closure to avoid loss of calls etc. I prefer pockets that are deep enough that closure is not required b/w brief set-up relocations. Game bag has only one strap that is sure to fail if you kill as many turkey as you would like... buy the SE III and wear a jacket underneath. Also I wear a large but would buy the large/XL for a vest.

Most people loose sleep, spend way too much money, and take alot of time off work to hunt deer......for me it's turkey hunting. I've been wearing the super elite hybrid since it first came out quite a while back. When this new version of the vest came out i had to have it. It's just as good, but I wish they would bring back the magnets on the breast pockets. My old one got handed down and is still in use and shows very little wear. So far this one seems to be made with the same quality as the original. I carry alot of stuff in my vest and I don't like to put multiple things in the same pocket. This vest has room for everything....even my custom long box, gobble tube, my real-wing, and even my real tailfan. The black rubber-like pannels on the shoulders keep your sling in place when you're trying to get in front of that older bird. If you're serious and spend alot of time chasing turkeys you gotta have this vest.

Rated 5 out of 5 I do enjoy the hunt along w/ the lessons received
I like this coat/ vest i can put my decoys/ blind in between the drop seat and back and carry all. I like the zip sleeves that turns into a vest when it turns hot, I just zip them off. It has drink holders and pockets that pop open and stay while you sit. I do wish the two bottom pockets were a little deeper to hold my box call It wants to hang on the edge when you close it. Over all size runs true to size I got a med and maybe if I ordered a large the pockets would have been bigger. Overall I like the coat/vest it has a nice seat also that I can sit for hours.

Get the XL, I am 6' and 190 with about a 34" waist, and I own it in a L. It fits me perfect. Very comfy, I bet if you go up one size from me you will love it. I like mine to stay a little fitted to me so i doesn't shake and bounce all over me when I have to make a quick move.
Bak does have about a 6 inch pad on back , but I do not remember if the seat detached but I think it does. It also has two bottle holders like screens style on each side down low for water bottles.

No and No. You will feel whatever you lean against. Its a very basic style vest as far as the comfort goes. The seat is awesome and the vest is very light and comfy, but you aren't getting any back support against a tree out of it. I love mine however, very comfy and easy to jump and run of you need to.
I bought one in the local Bass Pro and there are no tabs for a hydration tube or pockets on the right sleeve as description states. Few other things missing too. Wondering if online version is slightly different and if so, may return mine and order online. THanks
