Rule® Livewell Pumps
Used this as a replacement for a bad pump and it works great. Went with the bigger pump and have not been disappointed.

Excellent livewell pumps
I bought the 800 GPH angled pump to replace the seriously inadequate pump that came installed with my boat.
The installation of the Rule pump was a piece of cake, and it worked beautifully on my first outing with it. The pump has continued to work very well since I installed it, and at 800 gph, it replaces the entire quantity of water in my live well in about 10 minutes. The push button release on the pump head allows you to remove the impeller in less than 10 seconds for easy cleaning.
This is a great pump that boat manufacturers should start using as a standard feature. If you need to upgrade like I did, this pump will do very well for you

Hard to Understand
I agree with the earlier review that the feature of twisting the pump off being a great feature, however I have had to replace one of my pums now three times in the past 1 1/2 years as the smallest piece of a weed or stick will just ruin the pump. The other problem that I have had with the pumps is that the pumps for sale here are the tournament series and they are not interchangable with the one's that are not the tournament series and it is very hard to find the replacement pumps for the older series that I purchaed in 2004. In my opinion it will only be another year or two and these pumps will change again forcing you to buy a whole new pump instead of a replacement. Overall, when the pump is worknig it is quiet and wokrs great.

Check out this Rule livewell pump
I have been a Rule customer for years and they have come out with the revolutionary pump for fishermen. The pump is quieter than the original models and the best feature is the push button and turn feature to release the cartridge head on/off the body. It comes packaged with a straight and 90 fitting for ease of installation. If you need a reliable pump and one that is easy to fix this is your pump! Happy Fishing.
