Rated 4 out of 5 by Pump forever excellent pump. only problem, no screen to keep large particles out of the pump. I made one out of a 16" pvc pipe. No need to ever replace motor now. July 6, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Some issues The 800 GPH pump came on my boat as standard equipment. I think the motor got damaged by air getting in through the quick adjustment feature on the pump housing that allows user to rotate the top portion of the pump housing exit pipe; this caused the impeller to cavitate and ultimately damaged the motor. I switched to a new pump and then had to lift the adjustement ring, smear petroleum jelly around the bottom of the locking ring, then push it back into place. This made it airtight, after which pump worked as it should. Manufacturer's included literature made no reference to this issue. June 1, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product Product works well and was simple to install.I would recommend it to friends. May 12, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't fit I bought the pump to replace a Rule pump in an older boats live well system. The pump would not fit in the confined space of the older pump and would not replace the pump motor due to not being the same mount. I had to track down one of the older Rule pumps through my local boat dealer so I could get a pump that would fit the space. May 3, 2010
