These turned out to be ok shoes for floating/wading the river, but they didnt hold up as good as i had expected. I abused them and put them to thru the wringer wading the river on alot of sharp rocks etc. Not good for wading, but good for the kayak or something that doesnt require you to get out of the boat alot...They are coming apart after about 9 float trips down the river.

I ordered a pair of those water shoes for using on my canoe trips. They are awesome. Light weight, they float and they fit perfectly. I normally take a size 9 and ordered a size 9. Also, Bass Pro Shops are excellent to deal with.

I took these out during a rainstorm to my local lake and started walking around in the shallows with some shorts on. Great experience. The shoes grip nicely so I kept my footing on unfamiliar terrain. They're super lightweight and sensitive enough to feel if you're stepping on mud, gravel or branches so you can maneuver accordingly. When I was done these let the water out fairly easily and by the time I got home were mostly dry.
I also use these when using my inflatable boats because they're not heavy and wont hurt or get caught on the plastic material and they're great if I need to get in the water to get my kayak moving if it runs aground. These run true to size as well.
