Nice Air Rifle My stock was a little dinged up. You might want to check yours before purchasing. (It's not excessive or worth returning over, but still something to be mindful of). The airgun was also a lot louder than I thought it would be. The noise suppressor made me think it would be whisper quiet, but it was quite a bit louder than any of my airguns as a kid. Velocity is definitely way up there with accuracy to boot. This thing will terminate a squirrel with extreme prejudice. December 17, 2013
Ruger Yukon .177 Air Rifle Extremely pleased with this purchase. Mounted scope and zeroed within 30 minutes. Tack driver at 20 yds. Quality is very suitable for price point. Love this gun and varmints are disappearing quickly. I recommend the RWS domes. September 18, 2013

A:
The type of ammunition used in pellet guns and Airsoft guns is one of their defining characteristics. Pellet guns typically use a lead diabolo pellet, which has an hourglass shape and is hollowed out at the base. The pellets can be made of tin, steel-tipped plastic, lead and other materials.

People in YouTube have said that Crosman Hollow Point are fine. I have tried them myself and the Daisy 901 shoots them not bad: sub inch groups at 15 yards with the scope the rifle bundles with, which is a very inexpensive one. I am guessing it will do better with RWS superdomes, since it seems almost every air rifle out there likes them.
