It turns heads EVERY time I take it some where to shoot. It is beautiful. After 100 rounds I bought a hogue rubber grip (performs better for me, but I still prefer the wood look) because this gun does kick.... BUT IT IS A 44 mag! My friends laugh as I "pierce ears" of silhouettes at 20 yards. It was tough to get the hang of taking out the cylinder at first (for cleaning) but I have mastered it now. I had one problem: the screw that holds the front of the trigger guard to the frame came out! I called ruger, they sent one free of charge. I received it by mail in 3 days. I monitor the screw and it will come loose after about 50 rounds. I need to follow up on that.
