The Ruger® LCR® Double-Action Revolver makes a lightweight, fast handling concealed carry gun that is quick to get on target. The innovatively designed LCR (Lightweight Compact Revolver) has a monolithic frame of aerospace-grade, 7000 series aluminum, a streamlined fluted stainless steel cylinder, and a stainless steel barrel insert, threaded into the aluminum frame. The frame is finished in non-reflective matte black, optimum for self-defense weapons. To keep overall weight to a minimum, the LCR uses a polymer grip frame that houses all the fire control components. The LCR has a concealed hammer that prevents the gun from snagging while being drawn rapidly from a holster, pocket, or purse allowing the firearm to function when an emergency situation calls for it to be purposely fired from inside a pocket or purse. The double action trigger pull on the LCR is as smooth as silk, due to Ruger's refined trigger geometry and spring rates. The non-stacking trigger allows shooter to maintain a constant sight picture while cycling the cylinder and firing the revolver. A front sight blade is pinned to the frame and can easily be replaced with after market sight options, and the fixed rear sight consists of a groove on the top of the frame. The Ruger LCR Double-Action Revolver is a reliable firearm that is easy to operate for most any shooter regardless of experience, making it a perfect firearm for concealed carry and home defense. Made in USA.

Almost perfect I purchased this gun for my wife. I also got it with a laser sight since she is not use to firing guns I figured that it would help her during gun safety classes at the indoor range. And it does just as it should. It is light weight and compact and fits her hand perfectly. It is also very user friendly for her and simple for her to clean. The only down side that we both have is it is extremely loud to shoot and it makes her flinch every time it fires. Even when using both ear plugs and headsets at the same time. My 500 mag is not this loud. Besides that we love this gun August 17, 2013

Very nice handgun I researched this gun countless times looking for a hammerless revolver, something that would work great for a concealed. Shoots very well, trigger almost has a pre-engaged point, you can pull the trigger about 3/4 of the way re-adjust your sight then complete the pull. Light weight and well built, like the fact that it has a trigger lock in the handle. Carry it with me almost everywhere, even hunting with .38 special "rat shot". December 16, 2011
Great Cocealed Carry Revolver I bought two of these Rugers for my wife and I specifically for concealed carry use. We both love this revolver. Its light weight, well made, accurate and it carries concealed very nicely. To make it even better, I upgraded both of our guns with Tritanium front sights. These sights make a huge difference for low light or no light aiming. I highly recommend both the Ruger LCR and the Tritanium front sights. February 25, 2013
