Ruger Air Hawk .177 Caliber Air Rifle Combo
big game, small game, this takes all game!good enough for the money and packs a punch.can kill everything up to a fox or turkey in 1000 fps.powerful enough to go through half inch ply wood with pba ammo. scopes garbage though.it has good sights and nice hollow bit inside the stock for pellets or survival stuff.also doesn't have big ugly warnings on the receiver its on the breech which is nice.not sure why they bothered include the scope though...

Velocity is as claimed
My new Air Hawk has a nice trigger, set by the factory to a long, two-stage type, but the takeup easily adjusts to nothing.
I haven't had a chance to shoot for accuracy yet, but I did shoot two different pellets over my chronograph. The .45 gram Gamo Hunter shot at 931 fps and a .4 gram Crosman Lead Free pellet was 1059.
I checked "Ease of Use" as an advantage. This applies to use by a grown man in good health. The gun is as heavy as a centerfire rifle and the cocking force is enough that smaller people or those with joint pain my have trouble with it.

Great Pellet Rifle
I've had this rifle for about 2 years now, and I absolutely love it! It is plenty powerful. I know it's not the best scope, but I don't need the best scope and the one it came with works fine for me, and I had it sighted in within 20 minutes. I use it mainly for plinking and target practice, as well as eliminating the occasional pest at the farm.

I got this gun today seeing as I live in Canada we have restrictions on fps (Over 600 you need a licence) so this gun has 490 Fps. When I shoot this thing it goes a little over that. I shot a crow and it went right through it. It has good accuracy. The scope is good but can be a pain to get on and zero in but if you can accomplish that your good to go. I have shot from 50 feet away at and it is still extremely accurate. It was also recommended by the staff. Almost all wood and metal :). Does anyone know if it will kill a squirrel at 490-510 Fps?
