good rifle terrible bearing
the rifle was great, but the bearings where you put the scope was terrible, when i was done zeroing in the scope,it was so worn that the scope kept on flying of every time i fired it,so i thought about filing it down, but then i wouldnt have been able to return it, i am very dissapointed in this rifle

Very Nice Gun
Was very impressed when I pulled it out of the box. The first time I fired it it really did sound like a 22. It got quieter with repeated shots. It was not accurate with the scope out of the box and I have not been able to site it in as of yet due to all the snow we've been getting. I look forward to shooting this gun when the weather breaks!
Very nice gun for the money!

Ruger 177 air rifle
I could not believe the quality workmanship on this air rifle. I have seen other brand guns selling for 500 to 600 dollars not being this well made. Have not had time to sight in the scope yet, but I will be happy.

The best answer i can give is,its all about the politics. When you buy the full power version, you need to have your gun licence. You have already bought into the system with your courses and gun licence fees, there fore the product will be cheaper. If you dont have your licence,it will be more expensive, because they want you to think about getting your licence. The prices of the firearms north of the border for the most part are mandated by the ministery. Its complicated to explain, there really is more to it,but i hope this kind of helps.
High right one shot, low left next. Noticed pellets slide in different. Some push in EASY.. and some a bit tighter and some even TIGHTER. Not a pettet gun expert by no means but know this has to effect accuacy. Will a higher quality pellet help or did I get one of the lemons.
Absolutely!! Do not use regular cheap everyday pellets. I checked around and now have proved that Crossman Premier Hollow Point is the most accurate. I can drop three in a inch circle at 40 yards. AND they penetrate critters very well.
First thing you need to do is make sure that every component of the rifle is good and tight. The scope rings must be tight also.Second, when you site in your rifle, make sure you are using the same pellets(you are rite,a higher quality pellet will make a difference).Third, make sure your rifle is good and stable when making your shots for siting.A sand bag or even better, something to clamp the rifle in place when shooting. Also make sure you aim at the same place every time,so you know how far you are out when siting.Good luck.
ive killed skunks a fox, i could see using it for raccons and i def use it for squirels and pesky birds and such, i wouldnt try this on coyotes some people say it will do the job, but being a hunter i want a clean fast kill not a maybe it will die sometime a thousand yards away, stick to red tip pellets for big stuff, typical lead pellets just work fabulous on squirels and such
It really doesnt matter, you can get both versions. The 500 fps or the 1000 fps.The only difference is that you need a PAL for the 1000 fps version.Because it is concidered a fire arm.Any thing over 500 fps,you need the PAL.
Well there is no way to adjust the scope any more, once it's done it's done. I don't see why that would be happening, other than you might be using bad pellets, or you're too far from the target. And be absolutely sure which way you need to adjust it... But if that doesn't work, the first thing you need to do is get a very large target and from 20-30yards, shoot 3-5 shots in the same spot to make sure you know where it's missing. if you get a tight group, then adjust the scope accordingly. If your group is all over the place, then you need diffrent pellets. If all else fails, then get a diffrent scope. good luck!
yesthis is a once shot gun, as are most pellet guns, you can get some with rotary clips that are overly expensive, practice makes a fast loading action, ive never once had a complaint about a single shot
