Rated 5 out of 5 by A great gun for the price I bought one of these Rugers and put a few hundred rounds through it "out of the box". worked like a dream. Pros: -inexpencive -works well when clean. -customizable Cons: -gets dirty after about 500 rds April 26, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best 22 Semi Auto I have owned a Ruger 22 Pistol that functioned perfectly. I purchased other 22 semi auto rifles that failed to cycle frequently. One of them was a Remington and the other was a Marlin. Neither of them was accurate enough for me. I decided to go with a bull barrel for accuracy in the Ruger. There are so many after market goodies that can be added to customize it to anyone's preferences. Rather than buy a basic model and ad to it, I decided to get one as this Target model. I expect many years of enjoyable trouble free shooting. December 24, 2010

This is a non-tapering .920 diameter barrel. Tapco makes stock designed for this size if you are looking for a tactical upgrade.

I hope this helps.
