Ruger® 10/22® Carbine .22 LR Autoload Rifle
great little rifle
Rifles I own: 30-06 savage, 270 zastava, 223 handi rifle varmint, 22 mag marlin, 22 henry lever, 7.62x39 sks x 2, mosin nagant x 2, 30 30 marlin, 12 gauge o/u yildiz, + many more...
The 10/22 is a great little rifle. Nuff said? No?
300.Rounds...no jams. Less than 1/4" groups @ 50 yds w/ 3x9x40 scope. I love it almost as much as I do my Henry.

no regrets with purchase
I was contemplating between this Ruger and the Savage 64 G. I liked the Savage's longer barrel and I've heard it was also very accurate and came with sling studs all for $199. But after handllng both for awhile I found that the Ruger felt more comfortable and well contoured. I also like the flush rotary magazine. Also, lots of after market parts if you decide to go that route. I put about 150 rounds with no jams. Very smooth, I had a great time. Very accurate out of the box with iron sights. I would have given five stars if it came with sling studs. That'll be an extra $50-60 to have a gunsmith do it. But other than this rifle is well built and very reliable.

Great Semi Auto Lots of fun
I bought this Ruger after a good friend recommended it to me. I have to say that I'm glad I did. Its a great plinking/target practice gun. I took it out the first time and ran 130 rounds through it with no issues. Recommend buying some extra mags as you can run through the 10 round mag it comes with in seconds. The gun is also incredibly easy to tear down and clean. Lots of videos on youtube on how to clean and break in a new ruger 10/22.
