Rated 1 out of 5Â by OKTroutFisher cheap rubber broke apart
Had this net for less than a year. I pulled it out of my kayak to land a trout and found that the rubber netting was falling apart. I don't know what caused it but it wasn't damaged before hand, at least from what I could tell. I spent quite a bit of money for this net thinking it would be better and I was very disappointed. It cost me a pretty nice size fish.

Nice big net and with the rubber it is a bit heavy. Small price to pay for big fish. No more hook tangles. Never in the way when hung on back with magnet mounted with zip tie. Handle a little shorter but got used to that. Made an adjustment on vest to accommodate the weight pulling it down. Threw a 22" brown in it no problem. Hooked lanyard to wader belt. It could be 5 inches longer but I managed to get along. Very fish friendly for catch and release.

I really like the light weight and sturdyness, and the ruber net is much healthier on trout. I have yet to have a hook get tangled in the basket like my old mesh net. It doesnt float very long and the handle fills with water, remember that befor you through it back over your shoulder.
