went fishing on the chattoga river in south carolina and caught my limt of trout by 10 am . easy to throw with my ultralight rod and 4lb test line the light brown seemed to be the most productive

I really like this trout trophy pack, I am new to fishing and thought I would give these a try! Not many places to fish for trout in San Jose ca! Tried the white rooster tail, and jackpot my very first trout!!

rooster tails have been the best consistent producer for trout that i use. they come in a variety of colors and sizes and all have the feather tail covering up the treble. One tip for these that i use is killing it next to some kind of cover then jerk it a couple times then keep going, the feather around the treble acts as a parachute for a nice slow fall, trout will kill it doing that, for bass, do the same thing. One problem with these is after alot of use the paint tends to come off the lead weight in the front.
