No lure has consistently produced trophy size bass the way these Rooster Tails do. The tremendous vibration and fish-attracting flash produced by the spinning blade combines with the colorful, pulsating hackle tail to make the Rooster Tail one of the most effective spinners of all-time. This Rooster Tail Bass Trophy Pac includes six appropriately sized Original Rooster Tail Spinners in our hottest-selling colors.

The only problem I have with these are that you have to either pull as soon as it hits the water or crank like crazy to get the blade to start spinning. I tried them on a spinning reel and thought maybe the spin didn't work because of the way a spinning reel works. Tried it on baitcasting reel a little better but still takes some practice to get the blade to spin. Once spinning its a very productive bait.

On a rough fishing day this fall, I was shown a rooster tail catching fish nearly every cast. I got mine from the tackle box and caught 103 fish in 3 hours. White bass and largemouth could not resist. These lures are a MUST HAVE item. When nothing else is working, the rooster tail will produce. A bargain at twice the price.

The Rooster Tail isn't as popular as Mepps or Bluefox, but personally, I've had more success with the Rooster Tail than any other inline spinner. Like all other spinner it's vibration will attract fish and allow you to cover water quickly. This will catch White Bass, Large Mouths, Smallies, Panfish, Walleye, and it's deadly on Pikes. I speak the truth when I say this is my go to fishing lure. When fishing deep bodies of water, be sure to let the lure sink near the bottom, then retrieve.Be sure to stick to the ones with the silver blade. I find them more successful than the gold blades even in murky/stained waters. This lure will not disappoint!

To start a tackle box there are certain things you need. This is one of them. Good set, right price.
