This was a great investment for my yearly camping trip with my nephews and Best friend and his family.....the first night 5 of us went through 2 loafs of bread making pizza sandwiches and ham and cheese. When you purchase make sure to season as directed and follow the cleaning instructions....I am buying 2 more so we can use them all year long, even on back patio in fire pit.

This pie iron was great. Some things work better than others in it but I think it will be a learning curve to find out what works best. It does pay to season it as directed.

We started using the pie iron right away, even though it isn't camping season. We have a wood-burning stove at home and have been enjoying mountain pies in the evening since we got it! No mess, easy to use. Definitely use butter instead of spray oil though. Great for winter morale!
