every year i go fishing in the salmon river with by buddies in colchester ct we go and catch not a thing under 5 lbs every time ,by drifting it under the ledge so far te largest we have caught is a 12 lb. rainbow i would suggest buying lots of tese.

took a few of these to the roaring river, and had alot of luck with this flie caught 2 nice size trout and a few smallies that got thrown back

I've used a lot of "egg" patterns on trout, lots of yellow and yellow&pink, but this solid pink #12 egg has been my favorite this past year. The way the "egg" is set high up on the shank of the hook makes for turning more hits into hook-ups too. Picking up a few packs for Christmas gifts

This would work on panfish that you feed because of the shape and it floats like food.Top 50 Contributor
